“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.”

Isaiah 40:28 (NASB)

We serve an everlasting God. Isaiah calls Him “El-Olam” which means “God of Eternity”. He is not bound by the limitations of time. In fact our God created time. (Gen. 1:4-5) We measure life in days, months and years but God has no beginning or end. He IS the beginning and the end. His plan is eternal, His power is eternal and His compassion for His people is eternal.

Questions for application…

How does a correct understanding of God’s eternal nature affect our worship of Him?

Why is the God of the Bible uniquely qualified to offer eternal life to those who believe on Him?
