One of the greatest deterrents to sin is a correct understanding that God is Omniscient. Even the darkest thoughts in the deepest recesses of our minds are “laid bare” before Him. We should understand not only that God sees sin but that He will righteously judge sin. This should be a sobering fact to the unbeliever. Repent and believe on Christ because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness. (Acts 17:31)
