“Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. ”
Jude 1:5 (NASB)
God is equally just in saving a people for Himself and in destroying those who do no believe on Him. The Lord graciously delivered the children of Israel out of pharaoh’s hand. He performed miracles for them, He sustained them, He gave them His protection and His Presence and yet many of the same people that God had delivered did not believe on or subject themselves to His word. Jude warns us to be vigilant that we do not abuse God’s grace as many of the Israelites did. Repent and believe on Christ.
