“Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered
as God had commanded him; and the Lord closed it behind him.” Gen. 7:16
When God closed the door of the ark, it signaled an end to the opportunity for people of Noah’s day to be saved from His wrath. Until the day that Christ returns to judge the world in righteousness (Acts 17:31), the door of salvation is still open for our friends, family members and neighbors. There is still time for them to repent and believe on Christ. One day however God will close that door as well. Therefore, we must have a sense of urgency about reaching them for the gospel.
