“But let all who take refuge in You be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And may You shelter them,
That those who love Your name may exult in You.”

The Lord is a strong tower. He is a mighty fortress in which His people find peace and safety. Are you troubled or afraid? Then run to Him. Those who find their peace in God’s refuge have a reason to be glad because He protects His children. Those who find their refuge in Him can sing for joy because they are safe in His care. God promises that those who seek Him will find Him (Prov. 8:17) and those who find Him will not be cast out of His presence (John 6:37). We can love His name because He is good to His people and we can exalt Him because He is our refuge!
