God is no respecter of persons (Rom 2:11). There are no people more deserving of our love or more deserving of the gospel than others. In fact James tells us that to show partiality or favoritism is a sin (James 2:9). Jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor, broken and oppressed (Luke 4:18-19).We are to live and preach with the same mindset. The gospel is good for everyone in every situation and in every status.

Why are we not to show favoritism in our gospel work?
